Thursday Ist July

Today we wanted to show you how good the food is at Skern Lodge. We have enjoyed great food and fabulous activities during our week here. After lunch we had arranged a visit from Hockings Ice Cream Van. Our children enjoyed anything from an ice lolly to a large 99 with flake. We have once again been today enjoyed the following activities; surfing, rockets and riddles, archery, ground map quiz and orienteering. Mr Norris would have been so proud of our children who used their map reading skills learnt back at Hordle Walhampton. Tonight we will have the much-awaited Disco. Our children will get ready after supper and 'dance the night away' with Mr Horton and each other. Tomorrow, we will pack our bags, strip the sheets off our beds and tidy our room in readiness for our journey home. We have missed our mums and dads and brothers and sisters  very much but have had a fabulous time. Thank you, Mr Phillips, for allowing the school to have a week as exciting as an 'Expeditions Week.' This is such a great opportunity and we have learnt so much from being here.

Wednesday 30th June

Today, our children have enjoyed a range of activities. Climbing, abseiling, team games, 'Rockets and Riddles', making your own raft and then trying to sail it, scavenger hunts, archery, orienteering and a map quiz. YOU can see the variety is endless here. We are having a fantastic time, in fact, it's hard to believe that tomorrow is Thursday and we will soon be on our way home.
